Gather
Evidence
Gathering evidence is the first stage in a fraud and misconduct inquiry. Documents, emails, databases, and other information sources could all be included as part of this proof.
Interview
Witnesses
Following the gathering of evidence, the investigator will speak with potential witnesses who may have seen the alleged misconduct or have knowledge of it.
Analyze
the Evidence
The investigator will then examine each piece of evidence to look for any conflicts or contradictions.
Report
Findings
After conducting the inquiry, the investigator will write a report on their findings, which may include suggestions for disciplinary action or additional research.
Follow-up
After that, the investigator needs to make sure that any recommendations are put into effect. Additional interviews or an expert evaluation of the matter may be part of this.
Final
Report
The investigator will then provide the client with a final report that summarizes their findings and any suggestions.
